In order to facilitate finding solutions, I've found it useful to use the "What If" alternative question. In this case... What If the current energy sources were suddenly shut off, or ran out? What would you do to solve the immediate problems? eg. no oil -- cars stop -- bus or bike to work. eg. electrical storm -- no power for 3 weeks -- no internet, phone, tv, plug-in pest repellents, appliances. Find alternate ways to entertain, connect, access money, prevent insects, cook, illuminate. etc.
